Automatic Car Driving Lessons

Learning to drive in an automatic car is the most straightforward path for most learners — and with Nick's Driver Training, you'll have an accredited instructor guiding you every step of the way.

Each lesson is planned around your current skill level. In your first few lessons, we'll cover the basics — starting and stopping smoothly, steering control, and getting comfortable in traffic. As your confidence grows, we'll move onto more complex situations: merging onto roads, roundabouts, reversing, parking, and navigating Hobart's local roads with the kind of composure that comes from real practice.

We're available Monday to Sunday, 8am–5pm, and offer free pickup and dropoff within 3 km of our office — so fitting lessons around school, work, or family commitments is straightforward.

Whether you're just starting out or getting the last few skills polished before test day, we'll make sure you're ready — not just to pass, but to drive safely and confidently for life.
