Car Hire for Driving Test
The complete test-day package — a one-hour warm-up lesson with your instructor, then straight into your official driving test in our dual-control car.
Test day nerves are real — and the best way to manage them is to arrive already warmed up. This package combines a one-hour lesson immediately before your official driving test with hire of our dual-control vehicle for the test itself.
The pre-test lesson isn't just a drive around the block. Your instructor will work through the specific skills and manoeuvres that come up in the Tasmanian driving test — giving you a chance to shake off any rust, refocus your technique, and get any last-minute guidance before it counts.
After the lesson, you'll head straight into your test in the same car you've just been driving — familiar, comfortable, and ready. There's no downtime between the lesson and the test, which means you stay in the zone.
We offer free pickup and dropoff within 3 km of our office and are available Monday to Sunday, 8am–5pm. Bookings are straightforward — just let us know your test time and we'll schedule everything around it.
